SERO Celebrates Eugene A. Woods at the 2024 World Citizen Award Dinner

We were honored to sponsor and attend the 2024 World Citizen Award Dinner on Thursday, May 23, celebrating Eugene A. Woods, CEO of Advocate Health. The event was a wonderful opportunity to recognize Gene’s outstanding contributions to healthcare and our community.

As a Consul sponsor, SERO was proud to support this celebration of Gene’s inspiring leadership. Under his guidance, Atrium Health has put Charlotte on the global map with several groundbreaking initiatives:

1. Establishing Charlotte’s first medical school
2. Developing world-class facilities for research and healthcare in The Pearl
3. Implementing equitable health initiatives
4. Fostering a diverse and thriving workforce

The evening was a testament to the positive impact Atrium Health and Advocate Health have made in our region and beyond. It was truly inspiring to see our community come together to honor one of Charlotte’s finest leaders.
