Castle Connolly unveiled a new recognition program: The 2024 Castle Connolly Accolades earlier this month. This program honors hospitals, health systems, and physician practices that deliver exceptional healthcare through their team of Castle Connolly Top Doctors.
Previously, Castle Connolly only recognized individual physicians through their Top Doctors list which is peer-nominated, and thoroughly vetted by their physician-led research team. These doctors are recognized as best-in-class healthcare providers, embodying excellence in clinical care as well as interpersonal skills. The Accolades program expands on this recognition by highlighting institutions with a high concentration of top-ranked cancer doctors. Awards are given at both the national and regional level, acknowledging institutions with the most Top Doctors overall, within specific states or major metropolitan areas, and even within particular medical specialties, including cancer care.
