Meet Wilson Brooks, PA, SERO’s February 2023 Provider of the Month

At SERO, we are passionate about forming strong, personal relationships with each patient and their families. We understand that getting to know you on a deeper level helps us to provide the best care possible and builds a trusting, nourishing environment. We also believe that it’s just as important for you to get to know us. That’s why each month, we feature one of our doctors in an interview that reveals more about their story.

This month, we’d like to introduce Wilson Brooks, a physician assistant working with SERO in Charlotte.

I am a husband to my wife and father of two beautiful girls. We also have two puppies (they will always be puppies to us) to boot!

We love getting outside and going on a walk or bike ride. We also enjoy watching Panthers football and Tar Heel basketball!

One of my undergraduate degrees is in classical voice. I have a passion for the arts and for singing in the church choir.

When I was in graduate school for chemistry, I found interest in drug discovery cancer treatment. After spending some time there, I moved to clinical research at Wake Forest Baptist Health in their Comprehensive Cancer Center. I enjoyed working with patients in the oncology field and decided that’s where I would stay for my career.

I have a dream about woodworking and building furniture for homes. I hope that I will get my shop set up soon and be able to make things for my family and friends to use.
